Rochon was the sole daughter born to Zelma Staples. She was the only child born to Zelma. A businessman, she is also Zelma's daughters nurse doctor. She is a 1982 graduate of Cerritos High School, located in Cerritos, California. Her graduation was in 1986 at California State University Dominguez Hill (CSUDH) with the degree of Bachelor's in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Theatre and Sociology. Rochon has returned to CSUDH in 2016, was the keynote speaker for CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities' commencement ceremonies.

Heather Storm is a network Television Host, Producer & Travel writer. As a car enthusiast Heather also served as host of Garage Squad at Discovery MotorTrend Network. Heather is the co-creator and host of the web-based travel program, Drive Yourself Local, which follows her journey across America in her 1965 Ford Mustang sharing local slices of small town life. Heather has appeared on numerous television and film shows that include Nightingale and Epic Movie.

Ullerup was part of the cast as Julia Brynn, a character in the remake show Battlestar Galactica that aired 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. The character she played, Ashley Magnus, was made up of the show's first and second season. A lot of fans demanded her return even though the show had been cancelled. Ullerup was later cast as Bree O'Brien for Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup was played by Maggie Thomas, Michael Thomas the estranged wife, in Asteroid: Final Impact (2005). Since 2016 Ullerup has been playing a regular character as Dale Travers in Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies series.

Ava DuVernay, born August 24, 1972, in Long Beach California. DuVernay received encouragement from Aunt Denise when she was an infant. She worked as an evening nurse in order to give her aunt to have the time she needed during her day time to enjoy the pleasures of literature, art as well as theatre.
