Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actor. She was born on November 8, 1985 and stands at 5'3" (1.60 millimetres). Her most well-known roles include Andy Jensen in the TV show Kyle XY, and Lacy in the show Caprica. Apanowicz, who is Polish through descent, lived an entire year in Poland during the 9th grade. Her education was at in the Vancouver Film School. At the age of 10, her father showed her Pulp Fiction and it sparked the interest of her in acting. She began her career in 2002 with brief appearances on the TV show Jeremiah and John Doe. From 2007 through 2009 she played the role of Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. The show was also a part of Every Second Counts in 2008 as which was a Hallmark Channel Original Movie. As of 2009, Apanowicz got the role of Lacy Rand as a series regular in the drama television series Caprica alongside Eric Stoltz. In the following season, she was a part of Hellcats. She also guest starred in the second season of Jane Espenson-scripted romantic comedy web series, Husbands. As of 2013, Apanowicz was first seen in Continuum in the role of Emily. Ava DuVernay, born August 24, 1972, in Long Beach California. DuVernay received encouragement from Aunt Denise when she was an infant. She worked as an evening nurse in order to give her aunt to have the time she needed during her day time to enjoy the pleasures of literature, art as well as theatre.
